Beginning with Prayer Small Group
February 15 – March 29, 2026
Unstressable is our Lenten sermon series exploring how stress shapes our lives—and how faith invites us into a different way of being. Rather than offering quick fixes or telling us simply not to worry, this journey names stress as both a biological response and a spiritual challenge, examining how fear, false narratives, constant stimulation, and the need for control pull us away from God’s peace. Week by week, we are invited to practice awareness, truth-telling, stillness, and surrender, learning from the life of Jesus what it means to live grounded in purpose rather than panic. As we move toward Easter, Unstressable reminds us that true peace is not found in the absence of difficulty, but in deep alignment with God’s presence and grace.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the 40 days of Lent, a season in which we remember Jesus’ 40 days in the desert—fasting, praying, and resisting temptation. Lent invites us into a time of reflection, repentance, and spiritual preparation as we journey toward the celebration of Easter.
We invite you to join us for Ash Wednesday worship, offered in two distinct services:
A traditional service at noon in the Main Sanctuary
A non-traditional service at 7:15 p.m. in the Chapel
Each service is designed to create a reflective atmosphere that helps prepare our hearts for the Lenten journey ahead.
Both services will include the imposition of ashes as a symbol of repentance and a reminder of our mortality.
Palm Sunday celebrates Jesus’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem, where the crowd of people laid out palm branches to honor him as king. In true humility, Jesus rode over those branches into Jerusalem, not on a magnificent stallion, but on the colt of a donkey. Palm Sunday, also known as Passion Sunday, begins Holy Week celebrating the glory of Jesus Christ.
Good Friday, the Friday before Easter Sunday, we remember Jesus Christ’s death on the cross as atonement for our sins. Good Friday worship invites Christians to reflect on the suffering Christ went through for our sake by sacrificing his life for our sins. Reflecting on how much Christ suffered to pay for our sins deepens the joy and gratitude we feel for the gift of new life with Christ that we celebrate on Easter Sunday.
Our traditional service will feature the Chancel Choir with a focus on the role of faith in light of Christ’s work on the cross. It will be a service of scripture, music, and preaching..
Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ, representing new life and hope for Christians. This day also reminds us of God’s love and sacrifice for humanity. There will be three services as follows:
Our Sunrise service will be held in the chapel at 630 am, featuring communion as we celebrate our Risen Lord.
Our Contemporary service will take place at 9:15 am, featuring the praise band and other special elements.
Our Traditional service will take place at 11 am, featuring the Chancel Choir and brass.
