"Loving My Actual Christmas": an Advent study
November 6 – December 11, 2024
A place where kids birth-5th grade and their parents can learn to love Jesus, become like Jesus, and share Jesus together.
But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.”
During our 9:15 AM Sunday services, we offer ministry to children from birth to 5th grade. Each week when you drop your child off, you can rest assured that they are experiencing an age-appropriate Jesus-centered experience including music, teaching, and fun! Not only will your child have fun in our children’s ministry, but they’ll also learn valuable lessons about God’s love. We can’t wait to meet your child, even if we are not meeting on campus! We’d be so happy to meet you via Zoom!
LEARN MORENursery care is staffed by CPR and Safe Sanctuary certified workers and is available for children under 3 years old during the 9:15 and 11 AM services. Please email Pastor Cathy if interested.
EMAIL PASTOR CATHYWe strive to provide a fun and welcoming environment where singers learn to build community and celebrate the gift of music as an expression of our love to God! Our children's choir is seasonal and performs around special holidays.
PARENTING - THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT!
“There once was a man who said the most marvelous things and did the most amazing things…. Some called him the Light of the World.” ~ a paraphrase of one of Pastor Cathy’s favorite ways to begin a conversation about Jesus.
The Bible tells us, and believers’ life experiences through the ages confirm, that Jesus is always with us. Jesus heals, Jesus frees, Jesus saves, Jesus raises up and Jesus still rolls stones away. Jesus gives us the essence of who God the Father is. God is LOVE. And God loves each of his children (that’s us and our kids!) as a parent loves their child, unconditionally. That means God loves God’s children NO.MATTER.WHAT.
Which is the truth, Cathy believes, that once seeded and growing in a child, helps carry them through adolescent and young adult years as confidently as possible, with wisdom and with hope.
“Point your kids in the right direction— when they’re old they won’t be lost.” Prov. 22:6 (The Message)
Cathy loves Jesus and kids (and grown-ups). And also the beach, running, paddle-boarding, reading and hanging outside in the sun.
