Bethany has had 140 wonderful years of ministry and growth, during which time we have added to our campus.

  • In 1969 we built the Sanctuary, making it 54 years old.
  • In 1982 we built the Fellowship Hall, making it 41 years old.
  • In 2003 we built the Educational Wing with the Office, making it 20 years old.

Addressing Aging Infrastructure

As buildings age, they face normal wear and tear and, given the current age of our building, much will soon need replacing. The trustees keep an accounting of all the systems of the church as well as a replacement schedule. The estimate for required work is $500,000.

A Plan

We must be proactive and not wait until systems or infrastructure fail. We have therefore set a goal of raising $500,000 over the next 3 years. It is important to mention that the key areas noted do not represent all areas to be addressed.

How You Can Help

Please pray. Our church budget, like most churches, is managed on a day-to-day basis. We cannot afford to shift weekly gifts away from the general budget to support capital needs.

Please consider a pledge. Over the next 3 years, please consider a gift(s) in addition to your regular giving to help us meet our $500,000 goal. Pledging will enable us to plan wisely when allocating resources in support of required capital improvements. Your pledge can be made via the form below.

Please give generously. We are happy to receive gifts upfront or over the next three years. Any initial gifts will allow us to address needs sooner. We ask that if you contribute via check, please note “capital campaign” on the memo line.
