Bethany UMC’s 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off

Get your Crock-Pot ready and bring your best chili recipe to Fellowship Hall between services on Sunday February 25th for BUMC’s 1st annual Chili Cook-off! We will provide small tasting cups and let the congregation decide who will move on to the Hotter Than Thou Chili Cook Off, a fundraiser for Bridges Housing Stability to raise awareness and funds for affordable housing in Howard County. Hotter Than Thou Chili Cook Off is a free, family friendly event on Sunday, March 11th from noon-2:30pm at the Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City. Soup’r Sundae – March 18th

Bethany UMC is again supporting the Soup’r Sundae fundraiser for Grassroots Crisis Center. The all-you-can-eat Soups and Ice Cream event will be March 18th, 11-2 at Wilde Lake High School. We are seeking donations for the Silent Auction. Confirmation 2018

Our next Confirmation class will start in March and run through May, for 8th grade and older. Details of the Christian faith are laid out, questions are invited, then decisions can be made! Registrations due by the end of January. Register here

Vacation Bible School: Session One

Bethany is excited to offer Rolling River Rampage VBS during the week of July 9-13 from 9:00a-12:00p daily. Our VBS is open to all children in our community ages 3 through completing 5th grade (note: children MUST be toilet trained to participate).

We are excited to offer Bethany’s AMPED VBS the week of August 6th-10th, 9am-12pm daily.  It is open to all children in our community ages 3 through 5th grade (Note: children MUST be toilet-trained to participate).
