Bethany UMC is partnering with Rebuilding Together Howard County to provide free home repairs to a family in need in Valley Meade!  We will need a variety of volunteer support to make this happen! Sign up HERE

Rebuilding Together is committed to improving the lives of the elderly, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and families with children; all homeowners in Howard County who have worked hard, but can no longer afford to keep up with repairs.

It’s way too soon to start thinking about taxes! Or is it? The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 made many changes about what is now deductible, what’s not and what you can do (legally) to lessen your tax burden. Whether you prepare your own taxes or work with a professional, join the Endowment Committee for lunch on Sunday, September 22nd in Fellowship Hall from 12-2pm for a review of the many changes and some suggestions for making the best out of a taxing situation. Long-time Bethany member Karen Brelsford, an Enrolled Agent and Certified Financial Planner®, will give the presentation. RSVP with Karen Brelsford
