PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDAR—There are lots of celebrations of God’s goodness and blessings in our worship services ahead!  You won't want to miss any of these very special Sundays this spring and summer:

April 27 All-Music Sunday: Our Music Ministries-- our Cherub Choir, Carol Choir, Youth Choir, Chancel Choir, Bethany Belles, Carillon Ringers, and Praise Ministry are all participating in identical services at 9 and 11 a.m.!

May 4 New Member Sunday : Help give a warm welcome to Bethany’s new members!  A reception in honor of our new members will be held between the 9 and 11 a.m. services.

May 11 Pentecost Sunday/Mother’s Day: A joyful celebration of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and a celebration of mothers’ love!

June 1 Confirmation Sunday: Help us welcome our confirmands as new member of Bethany. A reception in honor of those being confirmed at 9 and 11 a.m. will be held between the services in Fellowship Hall.

June 8  Sunday School Recognition Sunday: Celebrate and honor our teachers, children, youth and adults who participated in Christian Education this year!

June 15 Father’s Day: Celebrate fathers and the love of our heavenly Father!

June 22 Summer Worship Schedule begins: Services will be held at 8, 9, and 10:30 a.m.

June 26  First Summer “Sonday: Thursday Night Informal Worship Service at 7 p.m. 

June 29 Vacation Bible School Sunday: Our Vacation Bible School students will share what they have learned about faith.

 

FURNITURE MINISTRY NEEDS--The Furniture Mission is looking for the following items in good condition for refugees:   sofas, chairs, dining room tables and chairs, TVs, computers, and other household items.  Please contact the church office if you can help with any of these items.

 

CAMP CHINA  2008 AT BETHANY--Kids, why travel to China when you can experience all the fun and excitement right here at BethanyCamp China offers kids age 4-11 an opportunity to learn a widely-spoken language and a very rich culture through daily camp activities.  Learning Chinese paper folding (origami) and cutting, Chinese chess, brush writing, Chinese yo-yo, traditional dance and martial arts will make your child's summer a memorable one.  Camp China will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. August 4-15 at Bethany.  Extended morning and afternoon care is available.  Registration deadline is May 13.  For more information, please visit the Camp China website at www.ShirleyPoPo.com.

 

WALK IN PAUL’S FOOTSTEPS—Walk among the ruins where the Apostle Paul stood, preached and nurtured a new faith this fall, when Bishop John R.
